L.J. Stevens Intermediate School reported that 45% of its students passed the ELA portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) test in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 260 students who took part in the IAR 41.9% met the testing standard while 3.1% exceeded expectations and scored highest on the test.

The total percentage of L.J. Stevens Intermediate School students who met or exceeded their ELA expectations was unchanged from the previous school year.
