Thomas "Terry" Davisson, 79, of New Lenox, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chicago, Terry served in the United States Army before marrying Jean Rose (O'Connor) in 1967. He spent his career at GATX Corp and enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, and spending time with his family. Terry is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sisters, and faithful companions. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister. Remembered as "Papa Terry," he will be deeply missed by all who loved him. A visitation will be held at Baskerville Funeral Home in Wilmington, with a funeral procession to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery for interment with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to charities. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Reeves, Fruland, & Baskerville Funeral Homes and Crematory.
